Research Summary

I am interested in how organisms in the gut influence the host immune system and the development of disease. I qualified as a veterinarian at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and stayed on to study the interaction between intestinal parasitic worms and the host immune system for my PhD. I spent my first three years as a J-1 Research Scholar at the University of Florida studying allergic skin disease in dogs. I joined the Jobin lab in 2018 to expand my knowledge of how the gut microbiome influences the development and treatment of cancer, and to develop my skills as a research scientist.
